Greener Lent
Lent is just around the corner, and we invite everyone this year to enter into the season of fasting and prayer, repentance and conversion, with a deeper awareness of how our patterns of eating have ecological and social impacts. Greener Lent is a diocesan initiative allowing us to see the collective impact of refraining from meat where we would have consumed it…And more than that, it is seeking to provoke ecological conversion – helping us in our own individual prayers and practices deepen our commitment to act for the earth’s healing and justice for all.

March 2022 - Greener Lent, 76 participants from IC conserved 12480 lbs. COz; IC represented 25% of the participants and savings in the diocese.
