Christian stewardship is not just an ideal, but a way of life that strengthens our relationship with the Lord. It is a scriptural call to discipleship through the contribution of our time, talents, and treasure. Immaculate Conception Church encourages its parishioners to share God’s gifts, not only with the Church, but also with each other and with the community at large. The call to stewardship involves more than just donating money; it encompasses the sharing of all the many gifts we have received from God.
There are 168 hours in each week. Ten percent of this time is 16 hours. How much time do I spend in gratitude to God?

Christian Stewardship is based on trust. Giving of our "time, talent, and treasure" can be risky business. How will we find the time to do all the important things required of us? How will we afford life's necessities - food, shelter, education, vacation time? These are real concerns. And yet our Tradition is filled with examples of people like us with similar concerns whose stewardship of precious resources deepened their relationship with God, themselves, and others.
Immaculate Conception is a Stewardship Parish, tithing 10% of its offertory income to outreach and Social Justice Ministries.
Remember, stewardship is about spirituality, our relationship with God. Prayerfully planning for and committing to give our first fruits - regardless of how little or how much, is a "leap of faith", based on trust that God will provide. It is in this spirit that you are invited to complete an Offertory Pledge Appeal tithe card.
