SPRING FOREST CSA SHARES

Sign up to receive a steady supply of fresh vegetables.
Make a difference in the lives of refugees and those most in need!
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church’s Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Care for Creation ministry is proud to announce a new opportunity to support another Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). When you subscribe to the Spring Forest CSA, you will receive locally grown, fresh, organic, produce, with your proceeds aiding refugee resettlement outreach and ministries that assist people in healing from trauma, along with nutrition and wellness programs for children and young families.

Only 10-12 spots will be available for the 8 weeks of veggie boxes offered this fall season, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. Spring Forest CSA offers both small and large veggie box options. Additional add-ons are also available. You can sign-up and find more information through the image links below.​​

SPRING FOREST CSA | FALL SEASON

The Spring Forest CSA Fall Season will span 9 weeks, beginning October 1st. You will receive 8 weeks of veggie boxes, with 1 week off in the middle of the season. Boxes can be picked up:

Tuesdays, 4-6 pm
Asbury United Methodist Church
(806 Clarendon St, Durham, NC 27705)

If you would like to subscribe to the Spring Forest CSA but are unable to pick up your box on Tuesdays between 4-6 pm, please contact Sue Concannon ([email protected]). Sue has generously offered to retrieve parishioner boxes for you for pick up at your convenience. She lives very close to the church.

SMALL BOX

LARGE BOX

  • $240 for the season
  • ​Small Boxes will have 5 items every week and are ideal for couples/individuals, folks who do not cook with as much fresh produce, and a great way to try some new vegetables.
  • $320 for the season
  • Large Boxes will have 7-9 items every week and is best for families and those that like to prep meals and dishes ahead. This share gives you the widest variety of all our delicious vegetables, herbs, and fruit.

WHAT YOU WILL GET WITH YOUR BOX

  • Locally grown, fresh seasonal produce.
  • Weekly CSA newsletter with information about your vegetables and the farm, recipes featuring the weekly harvest, and photos from the farm.
  • Monthly Spring Forest newsletter.​

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

  • Fresh Eggs: 1 dozen fresh, free-range eggs per week. ​
  • All-Natural Meat: A meat add-on (1lb package of meat per week) may be available for those choosing to pick-up their CSA at Spring Forest through a partnership with Woodcrest Farm and Forge. Please contact the CSA directly to see if this option will be available in the Fall.
