2024 EARTH DAY FAIR SLIDESHOW
On behalf of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church’s Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC), thank you for supporting our 2024 Earth Day Fair! This year’s Earth Day Celebration featured 16 different displays prepared by various parish and community groups designed to help us learn more about how we can protect our environment and all of creation, while raising awareness of actions we can take to care for our Common Home. We are especially grateful to our staff, planning committee, display/exhibit participants, and all those who helped make our Earth Day Fair such a fun and meaningful event for everyone in our parish. Thank you!
Below are some images I captured during our 2024 Earth Day Fair, along with some additional professional photographs taken by our coordinator of communications, Fabian Hernandez (marked with his signature). Enjoy!!!

Established in 2008, our JPIC Care for Creation ministry works to increase people's awareness of how we can pursue a God-centered response to environmental challenges. Parishioners like you help our church care for creation through numerous initiatives, including education, formation, and advocacy efforts on environmental issues, along with direct actions to reduce the environmental footprint of our Immaculate Conception's campus and within our Durham community. If you are interested in joining the efforts of our parish to safeguard the earth, our common home, please visit our JPIC Care for Creation webpage and consider joining our ministry!
