Immaculata Way of the Cross
As our parish and school community enter into Holy Week, we invite you to join us for a powerful presentation of the “Way of the Cross,” led entirely by Immaculata Middle School Students. Through narration, scripture, prayer, acting, singing, and dancing, our students will guide you through Christ’s Passion in a moving and prayerful retelling of His journey to the Cross.
This dramatic presentation is a meaningful way to enter more deeply into the mystery of Holy Week, and we hope you will join us for one of the presentations:
All are welcome. We look forward to praying with you.

Migrant Worker and Re-entry Toiletry Kit
This year, during Lent, in addition to collecting hygiene items for farmworkers, parishioners also will have the opportunity to help “re-entry citizens” in our community. Every spring, an estimated 150,000 farmworkers pour into North Carolina to harvest cucumbers, tobacco, apples, sweet potatoes, green peppers, and Christmas trees.
Every year, over 15,000 men and women are released from North Carolina prisons. Restorative Transitions in Durham exists to welcome home the women and men coming out of incarceration by providing the individual support and resources needed for them to successfully reenter the community.
Please bring kits no later than Sunday, March 22nd.

JPIC Lenten Book Study: Migrant God: A Christian Vision for Immigrant Justice
Please join us for the 2026 JPIC Lenten Book Study, where we will be discussing Isaac Samuel Villegas’ book Migrant God: A Christian Vision for Immigrant Justice.
This book is grounded in Scripture, lived experience, and Christian activism. Readers are invited to reflect on God’s presence among migrants and are called to practices of hospitality, solidarity, and justice. Through thoughtful conversation, we will explore how faith shapes our understanding of immigration, and how Christian communities can respond with compassion, courage, and love.
Each group will meet for 3 sessions. Participants have the option of signing up to be part of an in-person or a virtual group. For more information or to register, please visit our JPIC Book Studies webpage.
