Dear Immaculate Conception Parishioner,

It’s that time of year again. The Boy Scouts in Troop 424, a troop based at our parish, are selling clean, high-quality longleaf pine straw to raise funds for scouting activities. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps the boys buy tents and other necessities that they use during the whole year.

As in previous years, our pricing is competitive with Home Depot and Lowe’s, and we offer free delivery with an order of 40 bales or more. We hope you will choose to purchase pine straw from us this year. This year our distributor has promised once again to deliver the high quality longleaf straw.

Troop 424 pine straw delivery does not involve direct contact with customers. Scouts stack the bales in your front yard or driveway. In other words, we will be observing CDC guidelines during deliveries.

​Cost: $5 per bale/order in 5-bale increments
Delivery: We deliver orders of 10 bales or more on Saturday, March 5, to Durham County addresses. Free delivery with orders of 40 bales or more, $10 fee for fewer than 40 bales. Orders of fewer than 10 bales may pick up pine straw on March 5 at the TROSA Thrift Store at 3500 N. Roxboro Street.
