ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Opens and closes the parish office and chapel.
- Creates a welcoming environment to serve parishioners when they enter.
- Provides positive interaction with parishioners when they come to the office.
- Answers phone and returns phone messages.
- Responds to emails from parishioners.
- Is responsible for accepting money, preparing receipts and keeping accurate records of the money received.
- Receives and sorts mail.
- Schedule Mass Intentions and prepares Mass cards for parishioners.
- Assist with the collection of baptismal paperwork and Quinceaneras.
- Enter background check information and maintains S.E.T. records.
- Maintains and orders office supplies.
- Attend staff meeting.
- Other tasks as needed.
- Ability to work well with people.
- Pleasant personality when serving people.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work independently.
- High School degree or equivalent
- Spanish speaking is a plus
