Faith Formation for Grades 6-12
We know these times of social distancing have been difficult, and many of you have questions regarding the reception of sacraments. Our lives have been turned upside down, and the plans we have made are falling apart. But the love of our Lord remains steady, and we hope and pray that you encounter his immense, abundant love during these difficult times.
As for the dates of our sacramental celebrations, we do not yet have direction from the diocese. We do know that all our previously scheduled events (Confirmation, First Communion, etc.) have been cancelled. Rest assured that your kids will receive these sacraments, but as of now, we cannot say when this will happen.
If you need pastoral care or direction, please reach out to Marcus or one of the friars. None of us should walk through difficulty alone.
In the meantime, please visit our new YouTube channel for youth ministry, The Catholic Youth Minister https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFkmp9KKEC1bpQ9MgcwZo8w
Grace and Peace,
Our weekly Youth Ministry program meets at 11:00 AM in the fellowship hall (school gym) and conclude at 12:30 PM.
Youth Ministry is for 6th-12th grade youth wanting to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ, serve our community, and have fun.
Faith Formation for 6th -12th grade also includes Sacramental preparation for Baptism (RCIA for Children), First Communion, and Confirmation. All Sacramental preparation is a two year process. Please contact the Faith Formation Coordinator, Martha Ellis for more information.
