Catechesis for Children with Special Needs

Christ the Good Shepherd calls everyone by name, and at Immaculate Conception we try to accommodate all children in their journey of faith.  

Maria Montessori began her groundbreaking work in child development and education by working with children who had special needs. Our program of faith formation for children, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, is a Montessori-based program, and we can often accommodate children with special needs in our program. Some children, however, do better in smaller groups or in a modified setting, depending on their needs and abilities.
