Hurricane Ian Special Collection October 16
We will have a special collection for those who were impacted, this weekend of Oct. 15-16
Fortunately for those of us in the Diocese of Raleigh, Hurricane Ian’s impact was limited and sporadic. However, as you are aware, the impact and devastation in Florida will require a large, immediate and long-term response.
To respond as a unified Church, we have joined with the USCCB in a special collection for the Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund to support the humanitarian, long-term recovery, and significant Church needs arising from this and other calamities.
Bishop Luis has encouraged our support of this effort in the Diocese of Raleigh and asks that our parishes each make a special second collection appeal to support the USCCB Bishops Emergency Disaster Fund.
