Growing thru Grief - A burden shared is a burden halved: The path through grief over the loss of a loved one is difficult. Growing thru Grief offers ongoing support throughout the year. Meetings are Tuesdays, 4-6pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Teaching about the grief process is combined with sharing in small groups. Contact: email or 919-923-7310.
Homebound - Bring the Eucharist, a bulletin, and good cheer to shut-ins, either at home or in a nursing care facility. Commitment varies depending on whether it is a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visit and length of each visit. Contact Margie Burton, 919-682-3449 ext. 260.
Hospital Ministry - Bring the Eucharist and a comforting presence to patients at Duke Hospital. Visit a number of patients whose names and room numbers are provided.
