ADVENT ALTERNATIVE GIFT FAIR
December 2-3, 2023
Immaculate Conception Catholic Church's Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) Ministry will be hosting our 20th Annual Advent Alternative Gift Fair after all Masses on the weekend of December 2-3, 2023. We will be forming our JPIC Advent Alternative Gift Fair Committee to help determine this year's theme and the various local and global organizations which will be represented this year. We look forward to announcing these decisions on our JPIC website later this fall.

On behalf of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC), the entire parish, and all our organizations, thank you for your support of Immaculate Conception’s JPIC “19th Annual Advent Alternative Gift Fair!” We also want to thank our volunteers that made this event possible.
Your purchases and donations set a new record, totaling $19,715.68!!! Your acts of charity and justice helped us make God's love known to all those in need during this Christmas season! We are truly grateful! All proceeds were directly distributed to each organization noted below.

ADVENT ALTERNATIVE GIFT FAIR

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 19th Annual Advent Alternative Gift Fair after all Masses on the weekend of December 3-4, 2022. This year’s theme, Prepare the Way of the Lord, reminds us of our Christian calling to align our lives and missions with the will of God and Christ’s teachings. Share your faith and commitment to the Gospel’s call to love and justice with a gift for your family and friends that embodies the spirit of this season! Before you start your holiday shopping this year, please consider sending a gift that shows your support for these important ministries!
Strengthen immigrant families in Durham by providing comprehensive mental health and emotional wellness services through a local non-profit, El Futuro.

Help individuals and families in our local communities move from homelessness to housing by providing them with gently used, donated furniture, free of charge, through Immaculate Conception’s The Furniture Project of Durham.
|
Provide emergency food, shelter, clothing, and supportive services to homeless and hungry people in need through Urban Ministries of Durham.
