WEBPAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
UPDATES FORTHCOMING
If you are a young adult, the best place to start is to review our Immaculate Conception Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) webpages. We would love for you to share your gifts in any of our JPIC ministries.
If you have any questions regarding our parish's Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) ministries, please contact me directly. - Ken Chiha, Director of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC)
- Our parish also has two young adult groups (El Sembrador and IC Young Adults). These groups do participate in various social justice initiatives in our parish as part of their groups activities, but they do not specifically focus on the Gospel call to Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC).
- For those under the age of 18, you can find lots of opportunities through our youth ministry and can reach out to our youth minister Bobby Denne directly to learn more.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Each year, many members of our youth ministry choose to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Durham. Our JPIC and Youth Ministry parishioners have found volunteering with Habitat to be a popular and extremely rewarding experience.
TREES DURHAM
The Youth Ministry also volunteers with Trees Durham, helping to support its effort "to invest in and sustain a healthy, socially-just, climate-resilient tree canopy in Durham, NC." Below are some photos from their last tree planting event.

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT GATHERING
Thank you to all our high school students and young adults who attended our two-day in-person conversations together to learn about the connections among environmental, racial, and economic justice. It was great to see so many young people in our community coming together to support local efforts to be part of the solution for systemic change, helping to protect our planet as agents of hope in protecting our common home. It is your future!
