In response to concerns over the coronavirus, all sacramental prep and all youth ministry sessions are cancelled until further notice. For those who are planning to receive the sacraments of Confirmation or First Communion, it is our current expectation that these masses will still take place, and a mandatory rehearsal will precede them. Please keep an eye on the church’s website, the bulletin, and any emails from the parish.
As we await further instructions from the diocese, please call Marcus Steer or Martha Ellis at the parish office if you have questions.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (sometimes called ‘penance’ or ‘confession’) celebrates the mercy of God. Catholics are encouraged to celebrate this sacrament regularly, acknowledging God’s mercy and their own commitment to a life of conversion, daily putting on the mind and heart of Christ.
Young people are prepared during faith formation for this sacrament prior to being admitted to Eucharist.
The Sacrament is celebrated individually each Saturday starting at 9:00 am in the Reconciliation Room (in the main Church, off the Eucharistic Chapel -where the tabernacle is located, behind the altar-) or by appointment with one of the priests.
