Thank you for sharing, listening, praying, caring during the Synod 2021-2023 at Immaculate Conception.
Over 300 people participated, including 56 facilitators, note-takers, and volunteers.  We listened to 3 sessions in Spanish and 3 sessions in English, plus our young adults, youth ministry, and Immaculata 8th grades.
As a parish we listened carefully; we shared courageously; we have been challenged; we have discerned and continue to do so.  Now what?
The Synod Implementation Team has been working with the Parish Council to organize, understand, and put together what has been shared.  The Parish Council will determine some next steps at the parish level.  We will report to the Diocese and to you.  The Diocese will share its information with the USCCB and with the Pope.
If you’re still wondering whether this will go somewhere, keep praying, keep sharing, keep listening to the Holy Spirit and to others in our Church.
When you see the report, if you’re not sure that you were heard just right, let us know, but bear with us too.  This is not meant to be a one-time deal.  We are meant to be a Synodal Church all the time:
Always journeying together;
Always listening to the Holy Spirit;
Always sharing courageously
and listening charitably to each other;

Always trying to trust and be trustworthy.
Siempre caminando juntos;
Siempre escuchando al Espíritu Santo;
Siempre hablando valientemente
y escuchando con compasión;
